Journey played the Coastal Federal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh July 25, 2017 and came out strong with a song that has person meaning to me even today, Separate Ways (Worlds Apart).
Journey started in San Francisco in 1973 with lead guitar player, Neal Schon and Ross Valory (bass) being the only original members today. Arnel Pineda the current singer was great and has high energy. Jumping, dancing and running all over the stage.

It was one of those shows where, young and old, everyone knew every song the band played.
Journey did not release their first album titled Journey until 1775. They did not really take off until they changed their music style in 1977 with the addition of Steven Perry (1978-1998) making it huge in 1981 the the LP Escape.
