@ The Ritz February 10, 2022
Killswitch Engage hit the Ritz on February 10th for a sold out show. The band originated next to my home town in Westfield, Massachusetts in 1999 and has since produced eight studio albums.
Current members are:
As I mentioned, this was a sold out show and parking was crazy (plus $14 to boot). Raleigh still has a mask mandate so there was a mixture of that going on. Drinkers could drop the mask. I have to say it was kind of odd watching the show with drummer, Justin Foley, and guitarist, Joel Stroetzel, wearing a mask on stage while performing.
Bassist, Michael D’Antonio, was all over the place jumping and head banging while Jesse Leach was aggressively banging out the lyrics. Adam Dutkiewicz had a few things to say about someone’s mother to an audience member flipping him off during the show.
All in all it was a good show with tunes you know and body surfing. Think this is the first time I have seen body surfing at the Ritz.
